
What is the One-Year Filmmaking Program?
The International Film and Acting Summer School is an intensive one-month program designed for aspiring filmmakers and actors. Students experience hands-on training in film production and acting, working with industry professionals on real sets. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Filmaking & Directing
A comprehensive course that teaches students the fundamentals of directing, cinematography, and visual storytelling. Topics include shot composition, camera movement, scene blocking, and working with actors. Students learn how to create compelling narratives, manage a film crew, and execute a director’s vision. The course combines theory with hands-on directing exercises. By the end of the program, students direct their own short films.
Screenwriting, script analisys
This module provides students with a deep understanding of storytelling, script structure, and dialogue writing. They learn to develop original screenplays and analyze professional scripts to understand character arcs and narrative pacing. The course includes practical exercises in crafting short scripts, adapting literature for film, and writing for different genres. Students will complete and pitch their own short film scripts.
Set & Filmaking experience
A practical workshop where students participate in a full-scale film production. They apply what they’ve learned by collaborating on a short film, taking on roles in acting, directing, cinematography, or production. This real-set experience provides insight into professional workflows and teamwork dynamics. The final project is screened at the end of the course. Ideal for those who want to experience the full filmmaking process.
Editing & Post
This course introduces students to the art of film editing, color grading, and visual effects using industry-standard software. They learn how to shape a film’s narrative through editing choices, pacing, and transitions. Additional topics include sound design, synchronization, and special effects. Students edit their own projects and collaborate with classmates in post-production workflows. Ideal for those interested in the technical side of filmmaking.
Film & career development
A crucial module covering industry networking, film marketing, and career strategies. Students learn how to build a portfolio, create an industry-standard showreel, and prepare for auditions and film pitches. The course includes professional development workshops, guest lectures from industry experts, and practical insights into global film markets. The program concludes with a student film showcase and networking opportunities with industry professionals.
Production & organization
This course provides students with the essential skills needed to plan, manage, and execute film, television, and live events. Students learn about budgeting, scheduling, logistics, and team coordination in a professional production environment. The program combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, preparing students for careers in film production, event planning, and creative management.
